I think the option "Hit Batter" should be replaced by "Pitch Inside". The Idea would be, if you pitch inside you either hit the batter or miss him.

Then, maybe the batter get angry and start a fight... or not. Maybe the batter would be so upset if you miss him that he would lost his concentration and be an easy out...

Maybe the Umpire can eject the pitcher, or issue warning and eject you, the manager, if you do it again, letting the AI finish the game.

So many options...
