Does the AI "know" about tournaments?
As in do AI GMs "see" tournament stats when evaluating players for trades, signings, lineup decisions, etc.
Do they "see" big tournament games upcoming on the schedule and know how to use their pitching staff smartly.
Do they know that 3rd place qualifies for a big tournament so try to get 3rd place in the league?
I'm almost positive the answer to the last two questions are no, but I wonder about the first
