Bottom of the 8th inning, my RF Mookie Betts singles. On this play, he gets injured. I have Giancarlo Stanton as my DH, so I remove the DH and put him in the field. Clarke Schmidt, my pitcher, takes Betts spot in the order as expected, but he refuses to go in as a pinch runner. the game won't let me advance, because "there's a defensive position missing" even though there isnt. And when I try to exit the game sim the rest of the day, the game crashes.

Any advice? Thanks in advance.
