You find the player IDs at baseball-reference.com. If you do a search for a player, the ID will be in the URL box. For instance, Jackie Robinson is https://www.baseball-reference.com/p...obinja02.shtml. His player ID is robinja2. Click on that link and you'll see what I mean.
