Hey, I'm with you. I'm all for riding your best horse until he's ready for the glue factory. I just think the press makes a manager think he has to do something. And with all the data about "3rd time thru the lineup" people would jump on him if he left him longer. Like I said, it gets on my nerves. Someone once said something like "a critic is someone who watches a battle from afar and then comes down to kick the dead bodies when the fighting is done." That's how I feel about baseball commentators.
