I spent more than 10K for five cards: Lyons (57K ouch), 93 Faber (14K), 88 Faber (12K), Peters (17K), and 91 Minoso (14K). I could have continued to wait for a better deal, but I wanted Walsh and Appling for next week. The last 7 average for the three cards that I kept is 474K (Walsh 350K, Appling 84K, Seaver 40K), so I am really happy with the results (a 66% discount).

I can't believe you completed the White Sox in 10 days, I've been trying for probably a month or more! I have never seen the required Diamonds for the Appling mission on the market. Except likely the same Ted Lyons that you bought and I lost the bid on.
Also some other missions that I'm waiting on Diamonds for. They just never show up. Likely the best strategy is to pick them up in the first couple days of mission release when the market is flooded.
