Looks Like It's Going to Be One of THOSE Playoff Years...
As mentioned, Huntley went 6-0 versus the DDingu Eagles this year.
So, naturally, in game 1, Huntley's offense struggled, putting 10 baserunners on in 6 innings against Kevin Brown but only scoring twice. Still, thanks to the continued awesomeness of Rube Waddell (7.1 innings, 3 hits, 1 run, 1 walk, 8 strikeouts), Huntley entered the 9th clinging to a 2-1 lead.
