Paragon City Heroes go into the Wildcard game for the 2nd straight year, but have improved their record to 95-67, the two offseason pitching acquisitions Lefty Gomez (18-6 3.03) and Kevin Appier (15-7 3.96) more than making up for Maddux having a down year. Foxx (23 HR 97 RBI) Colavito (27HR 82 RBI) and Santo (25 HR 80 RBI) provided the power, Cool Papa Bell (29 steals despite having only 88 plate appearances) provided speed off the bench. We go up against the lefty Johan Santana in the WC and have to feel good about our chances as we are at home which favours righty hitters and we have a 31-12 record vs lefties on the season, and we are playing a team we were 5-1 against in the regular season (obviously setting ourselves up for a crushing defeat) The ''prize'' for the WC winner is to face the 12 time champion Everett Aqua Sox who won our division by 38 games with a 133-28 record

Bad News Bulldogs 71-91 was good enough to see them finish above 6 other teams so they get another season to suffer in Perfect league

Neuman Furshlugginers stumbled to a division winning 87-75 record and I'm hoping we get beaten in the first round, this team is nowhere near capable of surviving in perfect. Pete Hill won the batting title with a .330 average. Gregg Jefferies had his usual 20/20 season but i can safely say his MVP streak will end at 4 as he didn't put up any big numbers. Wilbur Wood had 20 wins but was 2nd behind Waite Hoytes 23, Smokey Joe Williams led the league with 50 saves
