Two days ago we were the worst (and most embarrassing) pack of pooches in the league. Now we're only the 6th worst and out of relegation for the moment.
Team leaders Don Drysdale and Christy Mathewson are to thank......or blame. Not only have they been pitching great, but they actually boosted team morale by sneaking into an ice cream truck and dragging out a whole bag of creamsicles. They earned a lot of respect for that move.
