That's true as far as it goes, but there's another level to the problem. The Bloomington thing mentioned above is an example, but another big one is the two large cities named Pasadena -- one in Texas, one in California. More baseball players were born in Pasadena, California, but anytime you import one, no matter which state they have listed in the database, they will ALWAYS, UNFAILINGLY import as being from Pasadena, Texas. I have reported this at least twice myself to no avail. There might as well not even BE a state field on the database for all that it gets pinged.
Not to mention cities that have parentheticals (e.g., the two Mountain Views in California). Those get ignored entirely.
