Kentucky is out of the race in the NABA, and Augusta must win to stay alive with three games to play in the regular season. Washington has clinched at least a tie for the league title, it seems, and the worst that Augusta can do is tie for second with the Colonels. Augusta leads the Generals in the season series, so in the event of any tie-breaking game being necessary, I would expect that game to be in Augusta. If Augusta wins their next three games, they will win the league. If two of the three remaining ones, there will be a tie. Anything less that two wins in the next three games for the Colonials will give the league title to the Generals for the year, and lock Augusta into second.
Brooklyn will finish fourth. Boston will likely finish fifth, but Birmingham can only tie them for fifth, at most. Birmingham will finish anywhere between a tie for fifth and seventh, with sixth being most probable. If that is the case, Charleston will be seventh, for Nashville is locked into last place.
More information later, when and where possible and appropriate and all, of course, folks. CD out.
