As we get closer to the start of the season, I have reviewed the team's financial state as of this moment. After seeing how the off-season has gone, I have decided to raise your team's budget from $108,000,000 to $120,000,000.

I don't recall ever getting a bump at the beginning of a season before. I took over the Royals at the end of the 2019 season where they fired the GM and I spent the off season retooling the roster because you start with almost no talent and no money.

I added 13 players through Free Agency and Trades and lost 20 players. According to the Offseason Summary page I gained 6.9 WAR.
