This has become unenjoyable for me. First of all, I don't understand the mentality of somebody spending **HUNDREDS** of dollars on a game that is not a challenge for them. To me, the enjoyment is in grinding your way to the top via smart picks in the AH and obtaining your PP's through your teams' accomplishments rather than opening up my wallet. Seeing my OVR 69 Tony Gwynn or OVR 88 Rod Carew consistently hit around or above .300 feels a LOT better than having an OVR 100 Babe Ruth or Walter Johnson.
Playing against a whale team is like watching the New York Yankees vs. Grade School T Ball, and there probably wouldn't be a single spectator left in the stands after the first inning. Should I just put my crappiest players in the starting lineup to get intentionally demoted for a more satisfying experience?

You left OL and NFTP after deciding to spend more money on the game. Why? We are having a blast still. It is very competitive in our league.
