Auckland Stampedes into First in OL S287
Like a rogue pachyderm, the Athletics rampaged through August at 11-1 to take the helm in the chase for the crown. San Pedro, 16-6, Corinth, 10-4, and Sad Hill, 9-4, tried to keep pace.
In PT play, OL almost certainly will fill the AC bracket. In the NC, things are a bit tougher. Frankenthal and Chi-Town each have a leg up. Asylum, Corinth, and Daytona Beach are within striking distance of the second wild card spot. The Pickleballers have the only realistic shot at a division crown of those three. They are five back, but have a heavy schedule against the teams they need to pass. They have also been on a hot run of late... unless I just jinxed them.
