DUTTON TAKES THE TOP SPOT IN FIRST DIVISION
Yesterday afternoon with some big help from the New Yerby Yankees, the unbeaten Dutton Coyotes took possession of first place in North Island Recreational League First Division... the Yanks (3-1) knocked the Jackson Jackalopes (3-1) out of the ranks of the unbeaten 3-1 and enabled Dutton (4-0) to move up all alone in the top spot... the Coyotes climbed into the driver's seat with a 6-1 battering of last year's division winner, the Kofa Kings (1-3)... the worst teams in the league had a bang-up game in Union Heights, where the Hackers whipped the Stockdale Mustangs 7-4 in 13 innings... it was Union Heights (1-3) first win of the season and Stockdale's (0-4) fourth straight defeat.
