4-WAY TIE IN NIRL SECOND DIVISION
West Chester, Joliet, Wafford and Avalon are all atop the North Island Recreational League Second Division after three weeks of action... all of them have identical 2-1 records... the other two clubs Theodore and Kinston are winless so far.
The West Chester Comets knocked the Avalon Oldtimers from the ranks of the unbeaten with a 4-3 triumph... the Joliet Green Giants toppled Kinston 4-2 and sent the Firebirds to their third loss in a row... and the Wafford Eagles plastered the Theodore Bobcats 8-1.
