2074 Season:

The BALTIMORE ORIOLES were World Champions, defeating the Arizona Diamondbacks in 6 games. The Orioles won an absurd 123 games this season

The BILLINGS MUSTANGS were relegated to the Pit of Despair. They finished 57-107, four games behind the Hartford Yard Goats for relegation.

133 teams remain in Major League Baseball...

In Memoriam: Billings Mustangs

Rookie- Cincinnati Reds

Rookie Teams Remaining: 12

Reds Affiliates Remaining: 5/6

All Time Record: 4127-5080 (.448)

Best Season: 2063, 94-57, 19th place

Best Hitter: Si-Xun Shang (2021-2030)

Shang entered the league as a 28-year-old free agent from Taiwan in 2021. Instead of going to one of the league's larger markets, he chose to bring his talents to Montana. Though he only once finished above .500, Shang put up some impressive numbers. He hit 408 home runs in just 9 full seasons, and his OPS was above 1.000 in each of his first 5 years in the league.

Best Pitcher: Seung-Jun Kwun (2021-2027)

The same offseason that they signed Shang, the Mustangs made a big splash and signed Kwun out of South Korea. He made only 13 starts his first year, but he had an impressive 1.79 ERA. The next season, he placed 6th in Cy Young voting after winning 20 games with a 2.54 ERA. Unfortunately, the good times weren't meant to last. Kwun posted ERAs above 5.00 in both 2025 and 2026. His peripherals were decent, and he was able to latch on with the Trenton Thunder and later the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes before retiring in 2033. He was worth over 40 WAR despite a career ERA well above 4.00.

Notes:

Erie CF Olivber (not a typo) Hames led the league with a .381 batting average.

Columbus LF Mike Behnken led the league with 53 home runs, 8.3 WAR, and 1.080 OPS.

Arizona SP Mike Iverson led the league with a 2.49 ERA.

Montgomery SP Zach Fritz led the league in strikeouts for the second consecutive year with 303.

The Orioles had six batters hit at least 39 home runs.

Braves 2B Phil Dumont continues to rise up all time lists, finishing the season with 597 homers and just under 100 WAR.

Giants SP Sonny Lovett moved up to 19th all time with 3647 strikeouts. The 35 year old can easily move into the top 10 by the end of next season.

The Omaha Storm Chasers were the best MiLB team, going 109-53 and finishing in third place.

The Seattle Mariners were the worst MLB team, going 66-96 and finishing in 123rd place.
