That's true, I personally think this example is a very tactless way to do it and you should at least field a "real" team even if the player quality is all over the place. But setting my view aside I just don't think it's a healthy exercise to judge if someone is playing the game the "right" way or not since the game structure doesn't give people many options. Whatever happens to this team won't impact me in any way, there are examples of this to various degrees all over the lower levels.
