The Terriers are be-bopping along with an underwhelming 17-22 record, and after looking over the statistics, I'm finally going to make a bold move to try to rid myself of Max Kepler (.213) in right field.
For the rest of the season, Justin Turner will start training up in right field against righties. Machado will move back over to third base, and Sal Bando will start learning first base. This move will get Bando's power bat back into the lineup replacing Kepler's squeaky-toy bat. Turner has some outfield range in the 40's, so hopefully by next season he'll have some passable ratings and will give me more flexibility with the lineup.
Everything could change at a moment's notice if I pull a halfway decent outfielder from a pack.
Or if Max Kepler decides to stop dragging squeaky toys into the batters box, and starts using a major league wooden bat like the rest of the Terriers.
