New pup Machado is on fire and has been moved up in the batting order. We also pulled an 83 Zoilo Versalles to try out against 5 time gold glove winner Luis Aparicio at shortstop. Versalles might hit better, but Aparicio has top-of-the-line defense, so it's possible a platoon might be worked out.
In other notes, someone bit the mailman across from the Dogpark yesterday. All eyes are on Max Kepler who isn't happy platooning in right with Thurman Munson. I'll keep monitoring the situation.
