I've also been finding some fun trends like this. I've had up and down seasons in perfect leagues with 1970 all star Johnny Bench. Defense is always excellent, but the offense can outperform diamond catchers.
I think we're going to see more and more teams with a good mix of perfect, diamond, and gold cards as time goes on.
