Interesting feedback, Ice Tea!
Here are some thoughts/rumors I saw on another sports chatroom:
Joshua is also in a very bad spot imo after that loss. He basically has to fight Ruiz again and I doubt he wants to. He clearly didn't know exactly how to handle the shorter Ruiz and he very clearly didn't know how to handle him after he took a shot and got right back up. None of the big names are going to want to fight him now that he doesn't have a belt. So he'll have to beat Ruiz, and then look to make a fight against one of the big boys. Or he loses to Ruiz, and then is in a really bad spot. I've seen all kind of rumors about why he lost the fight though. From partying in Miami where he was training, to not having access to the same PED's he had in England, to being heavily persuaded by his promoter to go for the big knockout to win over the US instead of actually fighting smart, to stories that AJ was telling people prior to the fight that he thought he earned the right to never be in a war of a fight again.
On that same card, Callum Smith looked very good in the bout before the main event. Very long, very strong, very polished. He was throwing some very heavy short shots and landing a ton of them. Him vs. Canelo would be quite a match up
