Executive decision time. The restriction on the number of non-listed players has been lifted. As we are in silver now and operating on a budget of near-zero, the player pool has to be expanded yet again...and this is the only way to do it.
As of now, there is no limit as to the amount of players that are not listed as with NL teams that can be on the squad. The games played requirement, however, has been increased to compensate for the lifting of the restriction, and can be seen below.
Position Players: Must have played in at least 150 games for National League teams (old minimum was 81)
Starting Pitchers: Must have made at least 30 starts for National League teams (old minimum was 15)
Relievers: Must have made at least 60 appearances for National League teams (old minimum was 30)
This does nothing to change the qualification status of Jody Reed (409 NL games) & Mark Mulder (53 NL starts), and will not hamper the qualification of Tony Fernandez (470 NL games).
