				Yeah the shift is really good against lefty pull-hitters, and is hurting the historical players who never saw the extent of that strategy. The way to beat it is to bunt-for-hit, but sadly Ted Williams doesn't look like he's capable of that.

Thanks! Right about the same time you posted, I added "And if it works well, then is there any reason to not use shifts as much as possible?" In other words, is there any downside to using shifts?
