The Mariners will conclude this road trip with a threegame weekend series in Anaheim against the Angels that begins on Friday the 13th. The Mariners are currently 2-4 on this road trip and have lost three straight. The Angels have won three straight.

In the bottom of the first, Glaus put the Angels on the board with an RBI single. Cameron threw Anderson out at home as he was trying to score from second on a Salmon single. A walk loaded the bases with two out. Kennedy grounded to second to end the inning.

Erstad led off the bottom of the third with a homer.

Martinez led off the top of the sixth with a home run.

In the bottom of the sixth, Spiezio hit an RBI double. An intentional walk loaded the bases with nobody out. Molina brought two in with a single.

After six: Anaheim 5 Seattle 1.

In the top of the seventh, McLemore hit an RBI single.

Ryan Franklin took the mound for the Mariners in the bottom of the seventh.

Ben Weber took the mound for the Angels in the top of the eighth.

Troy Percival took the mound for the Angels in the top of the ninth. A 6-4-3 ended the game.

The Angels got 10 hits in the victory.
