McLemore led off the game with a home run.

In the top of the second, Bell beat out the 3-6-1 and Cameron scored from third.

Moyer had a no-hitter through three.

After three: Seattle 2 Oakland 0.

Bellhorn led off the top of the fourth with a double for the Athletics first hit of the game. But he would be stranded at third.

In the top of the fifth, Suzuki beat out the 6-4-3 to allow Wilson to score from third.

In the bottom of the fifth, Damon put the Athletics on the board with an RBI single.

In the bottom of the sixth, Menechino hit an RBI double to make it a one run game.

After six: Seattle 3 Oakland 2.

Jeff Nelson took the mound for the Mariners in the bottom of the seventh.

Chad Bradford took the mound for the Athletics in the top of the eighth.

In the bottom of the eighth, with runners at first and second and two out, Arthur Rhodes took the mound for the Mariners. Menechino tied the game with an RBI double. Long gave the Athletics the lead with a two run single.

Jason Isringhausen took the mound for the Athletics in the top of the ninth. A 5-4-3 ended any chance for the Mariners to make a comeback.
