In the top of the sixth, Francisco Cordero took the mound for the Rangers. Two singles later, Mark Petkovsek took the mound for the Rangers. One out later, McLemore tied the game with a two run single. Catalanotto threw McLemore out at home as he tried to score from second on a Suzuki single.

Arthur Rhodes took the mound for the Mariners in the bottom of the twelfth. Three outs later, the Mariners had their first come-from-behind victory of the season.
