Milwaukee has put themselves in a pickle with last night's loss at home, but even after 3 consecutive defeats I wouldn't be surprised if the NBA's best team snaps out of it and sends it to a game 7 back in Milwaukee. Giannis needs to find an extra gear and start knocking down his free throws. Those two tasks are well within the ability of the league's top talent.
In last year's NBA finals, the Warriors were matched up against the 14th best team in the NBA (as rated by SRS) and the 29th best defensive unit in the Cleveland Cavaliers. What a joke! Unfortunately for Golden State (rated 13th on defense), Milwaukee (1st) and Toronto (5th) don't suffer from that critical deficiency and have a real chance of exposing the Warriors continuing "greatness" as a fraud.
Don't get me wrong, when Golden State was a powerhouse they excelled on both ends of the court. Those days are over.
