either incredible luck or you have the perfect composition of a team relative to your league's settings etc. more likely a good combination of the two.
is this 1 playoff series or several to win a WS... the more playoff layers, the more incredible it becomes -- from a probability point of view.
even a 120-win team throughout that entire window of time would probably only amass that many WS 1/2 the time or less, i bet. could be that injuries watered-down regular season w/l but if healthy for playoffs that would change the math a bit too.
