Amazingly, in spite of their own general incompetence and nincompoopery, the Patriots are still in 1st place in their division at 28-26. Andy Pafko's batting average has tanked to .238, but he leads the team by miles in Home Runs (14) & Runs Batted In (40).

Panic buy Edgardo Alfonzo (87) has settled in nicely as he tries to improve his defensive ability at 3rd base, hitting .333 with 2 HR and 7 RBI.

Now if only we could sort out the pitching...
