BREAKING: Due to a 7-game losing streak, the New York Patriots have fired manager The Manager. Some Guy will become the interim manager for the remainder of the season.

When asked about the credentials of Some Guy, The GM was quoted as saying "Screw Some Guy, I'm going home. The wife made fried minuteman."

Nobody is happy in Patriotland. Not even the mascot, who has a smug smile stuck on his face...and is crispy and golden brown after a few minutes in the life-size deep fryer outside the stadium.

I have to inject some humor into this...because if I don't, I'll cry knowing everything has gone completely wrong.
