Eugene, as much I respect you and think you're among the kindest-intending men on the boards, the irony of offering your thanks to Lawn's posts and beginning to chime in with comment is not lost on me. You have hundreds, hundreds, of times requested work, followed by additional minutia to adjust those accommodations. I won't belabor the point, but you have what you have because you asked and you received. Honor CD with the same latitude.
Lawn, thanks for your HS contributions and your ability to take on the project and demonstrate your skills. Can we leave it at that? Those that are grateful for them and find them useful in their worlds? Whatever prompted your recent evangelical bent on creating more creators has overstayed its intention, notwithstanding the verbage you utilized to, intentionally or not, demean the non-willing.
We can simply end this, let his requests stand like any other request on the forum with its due respect or indifference or we can turn this into an us vs them conflict in which, at the moment, though I abhor the possibility, I am more than capable and willing to accommodate..

Alright, I have waited a few days to respond. I wanted to read your post a few times and let it simmer before I came across as a complete Arse in response.
"I don't have a horse in his race, but it's time for you 'helping people' to back off of CD with your 'helpful' suggestions."

So you claim no horse without doing any research on Eugene's contributions in regard to his opinions on this matter, much less his dedication to give back to another in need? Sounds like all you really wanted to do was post some ****e and bait a response....wait you made it clear in the ending to your post:
"We can simply end this, let his requests stand like any other request on the forum with its due respect or indifference or we can turn this into an us vs them conflict in which, at the moment, though I abhor the possibility, I am more than capable and willing to accommodate.."
Well sir, I am only hopeful in helping you recognize the folly in this post:
"They aren't helpful"
Again, maybe do a little bit more research before speaking out in a foolish fashion. The link above certainly was helpful to CD, however he decided to make all help conditional to the molecular level. I suppose that would be lost on you since you make claims without proper research.
"So, at the risk of throwing the match or the gauntlet (go ahead, I'm well-equipped), find something else to do and someone else to 'help.'"
Well, so far the gauntlet has been your creation, as your uneducated opinion is overdue for a true gauntlet run. I don't much care for your opinion as to who I should "help", as the persona is very persistent in his need for the help he requests.
And your opinion being a match? Please sir, don't play ignorant as to your intentions with this post....the match may burn your own you know what...

With all due respect to what as I assume as an enlightened upbringing, and in the hope you were taught an unbiased mean of gathering information, and maybe even at the least of which, they taught you to think before you speak, let me direct you to this post for a second time:

So this is a bit personal. "Evangelical"? I really like the way you worded that, as if it could be related to Jim Jones or Christ himself.
Indeed, it was clever in your approach. I really do like the way you phrased that, it made me think of my responses with more importance than I intended.
I'll spill my beans on this: there are maybe 30-40 full time committed modders in this whole community, and the best of them all deserve a real shout out whether they want it or not. Should there be more?
Is it too much to ask for thanks on a creation? Or an opinion? Or an answered question?
I'll go straight to the knees with this question: You are a HOF OOTP member, and I did not check your history, so I am not calling you out, but what have you created for this community, and please post links to what you have to prove me wrong.
Regardless, your post comes across as very ignorant to the nature and INTRICITY of CD's posts, and the help he has requested has been delivered, only for him to place a higher standard to each creation.
"but it's time for you 'helping people' to back off of CD with your 'helpful' suggestions."
Dude get a clue before you post ignorance, and I mean it. Everyone would love to help CD, but CD needs to help himself first, by being reasonable with the help he has been given, and if the work isn't up to his standards, all we are doing is giving him the not subtle advice to just do it himself.
CD has an encyclopedia of jersey requests, here's a helpful suggestion to you: Get them done!
And I am done derailing this thread. I have said my words.
