Spring Training is finally here again. i am really looking forward to this season. We made several trades and i believe we greatly improved our team. I wasnt really thinking i had a chance to get Juan San Antonio when i shopped C Kai D'Eath around but when Juan popped up i jumped at teh chance to get him. It does create a few problems though. Billy is the team Captain and a 3b as well. I thought i had a long term deal worked out with him but he turned it down after the trade. While i like Dino i wanted another C instead of having to use Juan behind the plate as a backup. Sending Barnes & Klok to Panasonic for George Cain worked out really well. Klok was without aq position after getting Juan and Barnes would have been a backup/platoon. Cain is a GG C.
Going into St most positions are set for Opening Day. There are a few potential spots open for people but this spring is just mostly getting people familiar with some new positions.
Billy will learn to play 1b and if he does well enough will be the OD 1b moving Niec to full time DH. Billy will play some 3b with Juan playing some 1b & C.
Scales is the 2b
Bostic will platoon with new SS Pierantonio Carpaccio (PAC for short)
Jackie Wilson is out of options and will make the Od roster, which leaves 2B April Duncan as a potential odd (wo)man out.She'll either go down to AAA or beat out an Of to make the roster. She will play some LF in ST.
Of is set with Devon, Coffey, Rubble left to right with Harvey, Thomas, Bauer & Nolan all competing for the 1-2 available Of spots.

Rotation is mostly set with Litchfield, Matthews, Rubble-Flintstone & Braxton. Wedman & Kobayashi will compete for the 5th starter spot. If Wedman wins Kobayashi goes to the pen. If Kobayshi wins Wedman goes to AAA.
Pen is overly crowded. Noland is CL, Waring & Hernandez are SU. Carter, Bonser, Wadden, Fernandez & Sullivan are all competing to join Sugahara in middle relief.
Bradley, Bluegill, Collier, Camenate, Brigance, R.Cain, Self & Orban will all start the season in the minors regardless of ST performance.
I will lose Litchfield, San Antonio, PAC, Cain, Kobayashi, Sugahara & Niec to the WCB next week.
