Cooper was the busiest team on the Our League schedule, but could only turn their workload into the bridesmaid spot on the first day of 2021 sims. The Cooper Gutter Cats pounded out a, 10-0, road win against the Battery Point Knuckleheads in the BOTS, riding a stellar effort by Dean Chance, who threw a complete-game, 4-hit, shutout. Bill Madlock led the 12-hit attack, going 3-for-5, including an 8th inning off Ryan Brasier, one of four beleaguered Battery Point pitchers.
