Minutes later, as the local emergency and law enforcement personnel arrived to attend to the fires, and interview available witnesses to the fight that had just occurred, Tiziano and those he was now with asked the surviving fighters what was likely to happen in the future, once they were in a secure enough location to do so, several blocks away. Both from the Cupids' temporary stadium and from where The Noodle Castle had stood until the attack had happened not long before, in fact.

The surviving fighters made sure that they'd not be seen, heard, or detected by any beings similar enough to the one they'd just fought, nor would their current companions either. They did this by placing several devices around the area that they were now in for an abandoned warehouse's loading bay somewhere else in downtown Folliston. Then they handed each of their current non-fighting companions what appeared to be wristwatches of some sort, after first tapping their faces a couple of times.

That tapping activated communication-related circuits of some sort, and also activated a multiple-language/dialect/accent translation program. For some languages, it would take a while to fully acclimatize to the people now wearing those watches, if their spoken languages/dialects/accents were unfamiliar to the donators of the watches in question here. Meaning that if the watch-holding people spoke a language not well-known or familiar to the fighters, it might take a while for them to learn that language or those languages. And vice versa, for that matter.

Once all the watches had been prepared as needed and distributed as needed, the fighters began to speak to Tiziano and the six other people now with him and them now. The sixth person now with him was one of Tiziano's teammates, but he had not yet played for the Cupids in the regular season, currently being on the disabled list due to having back spasms already for about the last month. Although he was expected to be able to come off the disabled list within the next couple of weeks, if at all possible, in any case.

Not only that, but it was now Seung-gwan Houng's 23rd birthday this very day, and he had decided to try to enjoy himself by himself on his special day, not really knowing anyone in the area so far very well. He had come alone to The Noodle Castle, for he was in the mood for pasta then. Seung-gwan was 5'7" and 165 pounds with ancestry dating back several generations to the area of Taejon, Korea, although much of his family had long been present for generations in Slaabovia, since the 17th Century AD, at the very latest. He personally had been born near Damonopolis in Damonallo, another Slaabovian state for the Slaabovian Republic.

The fans were looking forwards to seeing him actually play for the first time in the Cupids' temporary home park, but he'd not played since March 16th, due to the aforementioned back spasms. He'd not had a good spring, at least on the hitting front, but he'd still been popular with the fans when they'd seen him during spring training. He also had just over two years of playing time in semi-pro ball prior to the founding of the SRL, mostly in the Folliston area of Slaabovia, so he was already considerably well-known in the local area, even while attending college somewhere nearby.

He had black hair and brown eyes, with a bit of a five-o'clock shadow for facial hair, and had been popular with the ladies for a very long time. But he'd not dated much since finishing high school about five years earlier, for he'd concentrated mainly on his studies and his playing of baseball since then, because he mainly wanted to make his family proud of him, if at all possible.

The second-oldest swordsman now present, who had been the third-oldest to appear in the restaurant just before the now-destroyed being had, said, "There will be more beings like that one, among others, who will certainly begin appearing all over your land, if our prophecies are correct. We tried to keep them from coming to your land, but we were unable to prevent it. We are from a land called Sartagar on what you might call an alternate Earth. They were created by a dark order of scientists and criminals and other evil people, and they seek to capture or kill anyone who may stand in their ways of not only world conquest, but dimensional and/or universal conquest." The second-oldest swordsman had been killed while taking the now-destroyed being with them into eternity, as a matter of fact, being the only swordsman of the three present swordsmen at the time capable of using a certain martial arts technique against that being.

Three more parts to this scene before we get back to the games here, I think. I don't know what's going to happen yet either on the field for the SRL's teams or not, of course, but hopefully this dynasty will be a good one to work with, et cetera, in any case.
