Major League Stadiums - new Workshop Mod
I have just posted a new mod on the Steam Workshop for OOTP20 titled Major League Stadiums. There are a total of 152 stadiums in this mod. Subscribe and download the mod, then go to Workshop Central in OOTP and install.
Make sure that when you create your league that you go to League Settings>Historical and make sure "Automatically expand league" is enabled. This feature will make sure that teams relocate properly or have their team name change as needed as well as load the new info needed to process the ballpark files. This is enabled by default when creating a league so be sure to leave it enabled to get the most functionality from the mod.
When you create a new league these stadiums will load and if you have historical progression options enabled you can get the new ballparks to load at the beginning of each season by going to "League Settings>Edit Ballparks>Actions>Auto-import all ballparks". You will be prompted with a screen that should already be in the ballparks folder, so just press select and everything should update. After selecting "Auto-import all ballparks" all of the parks will get reloaded and if there are new ones that season they should come up for the appropriate team. There are custom parks for every team every season beginning in 1901.
When OOTP does its own updates though you will probably need to reinstall the mod because OOTP will always reinstall the era_ballparks file in the database file overwriting this modified version that makes these stadiums load properly. So if OOTP updates, just remember to reinstall the mod as well.
If anyone finds any issues with any particular ballparks not updating after going through those steps please let me know. I found I had a problem when switching to Kauffman Stadium at the beginning of the 1973 season, but as far as I can tell this is now fixed after I updated a file. With 152 stadiums in the file it is not impossible I may have made another error like this at some point.
