So that's the end of the nine game stretch road stretch to start the season and London are currently 3-6. With series against the 2nd/3rd/4th teams in the predicted standings, that record isn't a terrible one, although 4-5 would have felt a bit sweeter.
The Liverpool series started well, winning the opening game 8-4 and the Eskimos hitting 2 homers in a game for the first time. A 6-0 loss followed, while the final game was a tight 3-4 reverse.
Excitement levels are high in London right now, as the Eskimos play their first ever home game tomorrow, against the 5-4 Metro Stars - the Stars predicted to finish the league in last place. It's too early to call it a must win series, but it's a must win series!
