Thanks! This is awesome. I always remind myself of how little I actually know about this game when reading the manual.

Some things I just learned:

*left-handed batters are more likely to have success bunting (makes sense but didn't know it was in the game)
*the game uses a STAM of 25/100 as a cutoff between RP and SP, but STAM > 50/100 is recommended
*your prospects won't develop as well if you don't challenge them (I may have actually been hurting my farm system by playing it too safe with promotions)
*position players can learn to play catcher (although it could take awhile and they might be terrible)
*player position ability can rust if doesn't play that position in a long time
*LHP with good slider likely to be better as a LOOGY
*LHP with good cutter likely to be more well rounded
*a pitcher with a sinker (obvious) or a curveball (less obvious) is more likely to have higher ground ball %
*a player with higher Avoid Ks will foul off more pitchers (makes sense but I didn't know the game did that)
*the injury system for pitchers takes into account "Pitcher Abuse Points" as well as "rust"
*players with high work ethic are "somewhat less prone to slumps"

I will stop there, but you see what I mean.
