Reason Why Contracts Aren't Official?

Does anyone know why there's the note when you start that says that contracts are not official? Is that for some sort of legal reason, like you'd need a license from the MLBPA to use real numbers?

Obviously contracts are so complex these days it would be difficult to program all the clauses, but with certain players having more than 10 year contracts, and certain players having huge deferments of bonuses beyond the contract, I feel like it's important to have accuracy.
