In the bottom of the fifth, Boyer hit a two-run homer.
In the top of the sixth, Ray Washburn took the mound for the Cardinals. Mejias picked up another RBI with a single.
In the bottom of the sixth, Floor hit an RBI single.

In the bottom of the seventh, Dave Giusti took the mound for the Colt .45s.
In the bottom of the eighth, pinch hitter Charlie James hit an RBI single.
In the top of the ninth, John C Anderson took the mound for the Cardinals. Larker got an RBI double. Taussig got one as well. Amalfitano brought one home with a single.
In the bottom of the ninth, George Brunet took the mound for the Colt .45s. Oliver hit a solo home run.
