you can even upgrade and save money. there are cheaper/similar catchers than realmuto who are much better. pay attention to their defensive rating. replacing suarez with andrelton simmons and move machado to 3B is another idea.

without seeing the ratings it is more difficult but I am going to assume eovaldi is terrible and can be replaced by a great silver pitcher like dennis martinez who costs a couple hundred

your calculation just claimed it would take 10K points to upgrade a single position? that is ludicrous
