Ok, let me restate what I meant. I can't get my head around why it is so unbelievable that a "perfect player" could post the stats of a "gold player" over one season - or any other variation you wish to define.
Each "Mike Trout" faces different variables and can result in a wide range of possibilities. If he always was within 10% of the same stats I would be very suspect.
