Best Hitter: Ken Mast (2029-2041)
The Hall of Fame third baseman was drafted by Binghamton in the second round in 2027, and he made his debut two seasons later. In 2035, Mast won his first of two Silver Slugger awards, hitting .321 with 51 home runs and a 1.004 OPS. After a few seasons with Detroit and Lakeland, Mast retired in 2047 with 550 career home runs.
Best Pitcher: Jim Babcock (2035-2045)
The Virginia native is Binghamton's all time leader with 108 wins and 33.7 WAR. In 2040, he posted a 2.83 ERA with 11.3 K/9. Following the 2045 season, Babcock signed a 5 year deal with Detroit. However, after two seasons with ERAs well above 5, Babcock was released in 2047, never to pitch in the Majors again.
Notes:
Missoula RF Chris Keatts led the league with 58 home runs. He becomes the 7th Missoula player to hit at least as many homers in a season.
Mississippi 2B Chris Herlihy led the league with a .361 batting average. He walked just 7 times all season, but he had just 34 strikeouts and 4 home runs. Herlihy is the Willians Astudillo of this league if Astudillo had a .380 BABIP.
Phillies 3B Greg Taylor won MVP after leading the league with a 1.116 OPS and 9.5 WAR.
Finally healthy, Phillies SP Steve Murray won his first Cy Young. He went 21-3 with a 2.24 ERA, 0.90 WHIP, and 297 strikeouts.
Despite having the league's MVP and Cy Young, the Phillies finished the season 19 games out of first place.
Brooklyn CF Sam Gross increased his otherworldly strikeout total from the year prior by striking out 280 times. He was better at the plate all around, hitting 35 home runs with a 100 OPS+.
On April 22nd, Rome 1B Danny Taylor hit his 600th career home run.
