Indeed I did, EC. I remember writing that. The funny thing is, I just reread it and remember the sentence "Baseball had returned to Cold Creek" being "The leaves had returned to the tree." Must've got changed along the way somewhere. There's all kinds of historical (and one personal) references littered throughout the story. I enjoyed putting it together and glad you liked it.
