So far after 3 months, PT seems geared to buying rare cards and win-loss results. The process of managing a baseball team is secondary.

I'm ready for optional slower leagues. Maybe 1 game every hour or less. I enjoy (micro) managing my baseball SIM teams; lineup construction, scouting opponents, analyzing free agents, tweaking bullpens, studying box scores, watching highlights. Near impossible, to enjoy at least, playing games every 30 minutes.
