These cards are so common that I pulled all but two or three (not exactly sure on Stammen) either in the public beta or after the game went live, some even multiple times. There is nothing wrong, forbidden, or "unethical" in having eight Altuves. At worst, it is inconvenient to the player himself.
Also, cornering the market is rather impossible for gold cards, since everybody can draw them with fair regularity themselves, and nobody can possibly want to invest the tens of thousands of dollars it would take to buy up ALL the gold cards on the auction house… while players still draw new ones all the time.
Nothing to see here.
