Alternately, if you set the "force start" options for a player in player strategy, the AI will put those guys as starters. So the 2 choices you can use would be to either use the force start to get the players you want, and then you can create the full one. Or you can set the guys in the depth chart in whatever order you want, and then ask the AI for the lineup.
