unless you can turn off all messages (really not sure offhand)... i have "no messages, personal only' setting [sic] with no other boxes checked and it still interrupts for those (at that time, see below).

my workaround -- i turned it off, but increased IAFA on july 2nd (just one choice 'up', there's another larger beyond that too, if i recall). it's not the same # of players replaced. not even close, but it helps offset the loss of ~12 a year for every team.

if you do turn it off, keep eye on rookie/short-A leagues. it may have been important to keep them filled. you may need a few more rounds added to draft in some contexts. or, not...

12/year over 2-3 years is 24-36 players no longer playing at rookie that used to be available. that's an entire team's worth.
