That's interesting on putting him in the game early. I play as NL teams so typically am aiming to either pinch hit or double switch, so might not work that often.
This is MUCH better in 19 than it was in 18 when introduced. There, they wore themselves out but in 19 I don't really see that. A guy can stay ready for quite a while and when you bring him in there is no noticeable effect. I have been very pleased with the system overall.
