the game is incremental. i have not done this in a while, so i can't tell specifically .. an out? a PA? an ab? or, a pitch thrown at the smallest incremental step.
now, the pitcher's stamina may relate, it may not... keeping it simple, but any deviation can be deduced too.
it will be a specific amount of incremental steps before they are "warm". simply count them as you go and keep checking bullpen after each incremental step to see when their status changes to warm. a change of inning may not be the same weight as 1 pitch, fwiw... each step doesn't have to be eqaul, but for the most part it probably is.
it still shows that info right? i recall it saying warm or getting tired etc...
anyway, you do this a couple times to verify taht no other factor is relevant... if it varies, pay attnetion to stamina... if that still doesn't make sense it just might have some randomness built in for a bit of variance from one game to the next. if it's the latter, it can't be a huge difference.
